Writer and Director
I’m usually occupied, either being a mum, writing, producing, singing or telling or listening to stories. I’m the Assistant Producer of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s live broadcasts to cinemas. Two weeks ago we broadcast Henry IV Part II to 380 cinemas across the world from Stratford Upon Avon. I also produce films and radio with young people. Next week I’ll be creating a radio drama series with some teenagers and sharing my latest film with them ‘The Shadow of Ingestre Hall’. I have two small boys, Gene and Milo. They think their stories are better than mine. They may well be right. I am a writer because I believe that stories are how we make sense of our existence. Without my stories, I’d probably be eternally bewildered.
