Children's Media Consultant
Eric Huang is a failed palaeontologist from Los Angeles. His first real job was as a secretary at Disney Publishing Worldwide, where he then worked for six years in various editorial and licensed publishing roles.
Since leaving Disney, Eric has lived in the US, UK, and Australia, working in a variety of publishing and children’s media roles. He was one of the children’s publishers at Penguin Australia and Penguin UK, where, over the course of nine years, he looked after a record-breaking licensed publishing programme, and helped kick start the company’s digital, TV production, and out-bound licensing businesses.
Eric joined award-winning digital agency, Made in Me in 2013, known for their innovative digital storytelling. Today Eric is a consultant, helping children’s media companies like LEGO, Yoto, DreamWorks, Pottermore, and others with story development, brand strategy, digital strategy, business development, and licensing.
Eric lives in London. He misses travelling and spends too much time in museums and on Instagram.
