Film & TV Composer
Ella Jarman-Pinto is a Cumbrian composer. She was selected to attend the PRS/Wild Plum Songbook workshops with ‘Everyday Magic’, in 2019 and was Composer in Residence with Streetwise Opera from 2016-17. Recent commissions include a short film with Maker Projects that won a Bronze award at Cannes Lion in 2018; composing additional music for short film, ‘The Gambler’, in January 2020; and ‘Songs for my Children’ for Hull Urban Opera in 2018. Ella was featured in BBC Radio 3’s International Women’s Day (2016) and has received repeat performances by the BBC Singers.
