Deborah has over 20 years’ expertise in IP management, brand development, publishing, licensing and the children’s sector in the UK and internationally. Initially a retail buyer and then International Marketing Director for the brands division at Penguin Books, at Hoopla she works with clients on strategies to market for entertainment, literary and lifestyle properties in both traditional and digital spaces. She also delivers interim management at senior level for media and digital businesses, and was part of the launch team for J.K.Rowling’s groundbreaking Harry Potter transmedia initiative, Pottermore.com.
