David Heslop Creative
Producer & Director
David Heslop is a producer and director with over a decade’s experience in the industry, making short-form features and animations, dozens of promos and trailers, as well as several broadcast TV programmes. His work as a producer and script-editor on CITV’s ‘Share a Story’ feature earned him a Children’s BAFTA award in 2012. He has also devised and produced advertising campaigns for kids’ shows such as ‘My Parents are Aliens’, ‘Horrid Henry’, ‘4 O’clock Club’, and many more, as well as creating exclusive online videos for such series as ‘Mr Bean’ and ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’. He is an accomplished VO director and has extensive experience working with children.
As well as his TV work, he has written a play, ‘Dragons’, which was staged in 2012 in association with the RSC. He is currently writing his first novel. He lives in Bury with his wife and daughters.
