Researcher

Danielle Harrison

Danielle is a researcher in BBC Children’s and Education. She has a strong background as a development and casting researcher in Children’s TV and has a passion for content creation, editing and photography. Danielle is also a facilitator for Media Cubs delivering newsroom production workshops to 4-10-year-old children.

Danielle’s current role at the BBC includes creating and testing workshops which will be piloted at schools across the UK from September as part of a campaign called “Other Side of The Story”. The workshops, aimed at KS3 students, will help empower young people to make positive changes to the way they consume, share and make media, as well as giving them the insight and inspiration to think about future careers within the media industry.

Danielle is always up for a challenge, so when asked to produce talent for the CMC she snapped up the opportunity and thought it would be extra experience for stepping up to assistant producer.
