Cel Spellman

Presenter & Actor

Cel Spellman

Cel is the host of ‘The Voice’ new spin-off ‘V Room’, and at 21 the rising star has already crammed an awful lot into his short showbiz career.

His acting career began as a child with a recurring role as Tom Lewis in the ITV cop drama ‘Blue Murder’ in 2003. Cel went on to star in BBC Two mockumentary ‘The Cup’, and appeared in two series of the BBC One school drama ‘Waterloo Road’. When the much-loved comedy drama ‘Cold Feet’ returned to our screens in 2016, Cel was cast as Matthew, the son of James Nesbitt’s character Adam.

As a presenter he appeared on BAFTA-award winning CBBC show ‘Friday Download’ for the first eight seasons, and has hosted the CBBC Official Chart Show since 2015. This year he began hosting his own Sunday afternoon show on BBC Radio 1.
