Since 1995, Catherine has been Managing Director of 2 Sides TV Ltd, where she has been responsible for a wide variety of childrenâ€™s programmes for all the major broadcasters, ranging from the twice BAFTA-nominated wildlife series Animal Antics, to the comedy puppet drama, Bug Alert!, the observational documentary series Family and the animated specials Pumpkin Moonand The 13th Kitten.
As well as running 2 Sides TV, Catherine is also Creative Head of the recently formed venture, Random House Childrenâ€™s Screen Entertainment, which has been set up to exploit the many and varied titles in the Random House Childrenâ€™s Books catalogue.
Prior to forming 2 Sides, Catherine spent seven years with Winchester independent, Workhouse Productions, where she was Head of Production, responsible for producing and directing programmes for broadcast and corporate clients, including Channel 4â€™s science series Equinox, which she also presented.
A graduate in modern languages, she began her career at the BBC, where she produced and directed education programmes as well as presenting shows for Radio 4, Schools Radio and the World Service.
