Head of Safeguarding
Catherine McAllister is the Head of Safeguarding at BBC Children’s and advises the department on all aspects of working with children, and producing content for children. She is also the BBC lead for internet safety and plays a leading role in developing BBC policies and procedures for engaging with young people online. She is also an Executive Producer for CBeebies independent productions, including ‘Footy Pups’, ‘Baby Jake’ and ‘Alphablocks’. She has worked in Children’s media since 2007.
