Brittany Sommer Katzin is an Educational & Creative Consultant with close to a decade of experience in children’s media. Most recently, Brittany served as Senior Curriculum Specialist in the Content & Curriculum department at Sesame Workshop. In this role, Brittany developed the content and age-appropriate UI for websites, interactive games, and other digital assets for Sesame Street. Previously, Brittany worked in the Community & Family Engagement department at Sesame, where she developed educational content for multimedia outreach initiatives, including projects addressing child resilience, the needs of military families, children of incarcerated parents, and healthy habits. She has also worked in formative research for children’s television at Nick Jr. Brittany holds an Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Child Development from Tufts University.
