Beth Gardiner

Beth Gardiner is Vice President, Development and Programming, of Disney Junior, Disney’s multiplatform destination for kids age 2-7 that reflects the emotional connection generations of consumers have to Disney storytelling and Disney characters, both classic and contemporary.
In her role, Gardiner oversees the production and development of programming in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Since joining Disney Channels EMEA in March 2008, she has commissioned a number of UK productions including the BAFTA nominated Jungle Junction, and has a number of series in development in the UK, Dublin, France and Italy. Gardiner was instrumental in opening Disney Junior’s UK office, which she now manages.
Previously, Gardiner was based in Disney Channel’s U.S. offices where she supervised series production and development for some of Disney Junior’s most successful series to date including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einsteins.
Gardiner joined Disney Channel in 2002 as Director of Development and was promoted to her current position in 2005. Prior to joining Disney, she was a Production Executive for Nickelodeon where she worked on such hit Nick Jr. series as Little Bear, Maisy, Kipper, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast and Oswald. Gardiner first joined Nickelodeon as a Coordinator before moving onto Director of Animation, and then Production Executive.
Gardiner is a graduate of Catholic University with a BA in Speech and Drama. Prior to her career in children’s television, Gardiner was a literary agent and an assistant teacher.
