Ben Smith is the Head of Book and Comics Publishing for leading UK independent Rebellion, publisher of the UK’s bestselling weekly comic ‘2000 AD’ and its chart-topping graphic novel imprint of the same name. In 2016 he oversaw the acquisition of the Fleetway Archive, made up of dozens of British comics and thousands of pages of strip art including ‘Buster’, ‘Whizzer & Chips’, ‘Tammy’, ‘Jinty’, ‘Action’, ‘Battle’ and many more. Prior to joining Rebellion in 2009 Smith was a senior manager for Foyles. Before entering bookselling and publishing Smith worked in network television and film production.
