Ben is a games designer at Preloaded, a BAFTA-winning applied games studio that creates games which empower, educate and transform behaviour. He has spent more than 10 years designing children’s games and educational materials for clients including CBeebies, CBBC, BrainPop, NESTA, and Manchester City Football Club. He takes a multidisciplinary approach to games design, bringing together highly accessible UX and UI, story and character, systems design, and the art of education to create inherently fun and enlightening experiences filled with reasons to play.
Over the past 14 years, Preloaded has worked with a roster of international Broadcasters, Educators, Publishers, Cultural Institutions, Health Organisations and Corporations, creating games that have touched on subjects as diverse as neuroscience, drug addiction, mental health, ancient history, literacy, genetics, death and philosophy.
