Anthony Utley

After studying Drama at Stratford-upon-Avon, Anthony worked in BBC tv’s Programme Planning and Presentation, international distribution at BBC Enterprises, then Head of Programme Sales at Central TV. Anthony was also a Director of animation studio Filmfair. He later became Head of Acquisition and Programme Development for Carlton. Ten years on he moved back to the BBC to become Director of Television Distribution. In 2005 Anthony was appointed Managing Director of Cosgrove Hall Films, the iconic animation studio. In 2010 he became CEO of LiveFrame Studios based in Manchester. Anthony has worked in tv for 33 years and is passionate about the urgent need to provide high quality indigenous children’s programming for younger audiences. He is a member of the Executive group of Save Kids’ TV.
Anthony is producing “Meet the Commissioners – Public Service” and Executive Producing all the “Meet the Commissioners” sessions at CMC.
