Anna Rafferty

Anna Rafferty is Vice President at The LEGO Group where she leads global digital consumer engagement including magazines, apps, websites, games, editorial and community management. She has particular business responsibility for the LEGO group’s digital child rights, safety and wellbeing and sits on the Responsible Engagement with Children board. Prior to The LEGO Group, Anna worked as Global Digital Director at BBC Studios. While there, she developed the BBC’s direct-to-consumer offerings, leading the company’s short-form and social content production unit ‘Digital Studios’ and ran its global YouTube and AVOD publishing networks.

Anna joined BBC Studios from Pottermore, JK Rowling’s digital publishing, entertainment and news company where she was Director of Product, Content and Creative. Prior to Pottermore, she spent 11 years working for Penguin Books where she was MD for the Digital and Audio Division, across all brands and imprints. Anna is also a Commissioner for the Digital Futures Commission, sits on the Media, Entertainment & Sports Council for the World Economic Forum and is a mentor at the Social Mobility Foundation.
