The Chancellor's Fellow

Andrew has over 15 years working with young children: as a teacher, academic, start-up director, and, more recently, parent. His research examines the role of interaction in cognition, and the implications this has for early learning and emerging technologies. Andrew has moved to the University of Edinburgh, having been awarded a Chancellor Fellowship and Future Research Leader grant by the ESRC. His company, PlingToys, is currently exploring the potential of early years computing and the Internet of Things.
