Andrew Baker is the founder of Rights TV, the UK’s leading specialist media rights consultancy, which represents clients spanning all genres of TV production and exploitation. Andrew has extensive experience in children’s programming and has worked with numerous producers including Mackinnon & Saunders, Studio Liddell, Factory Transmedia, Studio Distract, Red Star Studios, HoHo Entertainment, Indie Kids, Tattiemoon and many others.
Before founding Rights TV Andrew was formerly Head of Business Affairs for Granada Kids and Cosgrove Hall Films and Head of Business Affairs for CiTV. As well as day-to-day production, co-production, financing and exploitation, Andrew also advises on strategic issues for his clients and specialises in UK-Canada Treaty Co-Productions. In 2009 Andrew established Rights Savvy, a company formed to provide rights and content owners with assistance in exploiting the rights that they own more effectively.
