Alyx is the Associate Publisher for Macmillan Children’s Books. Her focus is on pursuing exciting new partnerships and projects, developing networks for business growth and she heads up corporate communications for the division. Alyx has over 20 years’ experience in the publishing industry working in various PR and marketing roles. She has been lucky to work with some of the most successful authors and illustrators in that time, from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler (‘The Gruffalo’), Rod Campbell (‘Dear Zoo’), Suzanne Collins (‘The Hunger Games’), Frank Cottrell-Boyce (‘Millions’), Philip Reeve (‘Mortal Engines’), and Terry Deary and Martin Brown (‘Horrible Histories’).
