Alison has over 15 years strategic and commercial business experience in TV, film and digital. She has set up and led a range of different development departments across the TV and digital sectors, going into companies and revamping their development teams and slates, streamlining their creative focus and setting clear strategic goals.
She has won commissions in a range of genres, with particular expertise in factual entertainment and documentary, and has developed international hits such as The Great British Bake-Off.
As a consultant/exec producer Alison has established original content departments, acted as creative lead and troubleshooter for projects, recruited teams and set budgets for departments and new business pitches. She also works directly with creatives to develop, pitch and secure funding for their film and television projects.
