Inclusive Gaming

Why are video games important to so many disabled and neurodiverse young people?

More young people than ever play games. There are known benefits, such as critical thinking, problem solving and improved mental health.  So making game products as accessible and inclusive as possible is important to disabled and neurodiverse kids.

Hear from young people and committed parents about why games should be an enjoyable experience for all children.

Playing games has given the Spectrum Gaming Community the confidence they need to create a YouTube channel to talk about their autism proudly in the context of the games they love. Nikki Hunter is a mum of 3 including a gamer with cerebral palsy, she is a big advocate of inclusive gaming for young people like her son.
