Kidscreen Connect – China

Connect with the Chinese animation market in this 90-minute event. Key animation producers and platform operators in China and the UK Government lead on creative connections reveal their latest market impressions. How is the Chinese animation market performing in these difficult times and where are the opportunities for collaboration with UK producers, distributors and creative service providers?

With speakers: Sean Chu (WeKids), Tony Humphreys (Screen Specialist, DIT), Creative business developer Rebecca Ide, and Louise Cantillon (DIT China).

Connect with the Canadian market in this 90-minute event. Key Canadian producers reveal their latest thinking on collaborating with the UK – the tax, funding, treaty and co-pro issues – with examples of recent co-production arrangements. Prep yourself for working with Canadian in advance of your time at Kidscreen.

Kidscreen Connect – for writers, composers and creative service providers

This session focuses on developing creative relationships. Speakers and break-out room hosts who seek out and work with talent – whether that be producers, animators, writers or composers will talk about their methods and discuss opportunities.
