This session describes the different children's media markets you might attend - as an animation or live action producer - and what works in the different phases of your business or project cycle. The panel will explore the rhythm of the markets and how to approach pitching yourself and your project or service effectively - from both a broadcaster and a producer perspective.


Leveraging the Markets for Commercial and Creative Purposes

This panel will consider how to leverage the markets to ensure your project is successful and made with minimum complexity and maximum benefit to the producer. The panellists will address where the opportunities are for the UK children’s creative industries, in particular animation. How to use the markets to best effect to access them and what are the sources of help or support to develop an effective export strategy.


Digging Deeper - Snapshots of Kidscreen and China

A chance to hear more about the strategies you should adopt at the upcoming Kidscreen Summit in Miami, with hints and toils on navigating its 2000+ delegates from a Kidscreen insider.  Followed by expert advice on navigating deals in China and the latest on what the vast market is looking for and how its companies like to do business. With news of the CMC hosted UK mission to the premiere Chinese animation and licensing markets CICAF/iABC in April 2019.
