DIY Research – a Producer’s Guide
A seminar to introduce a range of research techniques to industry professionals who want to make their contact with children and families more realistic, robust and rigorous.

This seminar offered a range of research techniques for use with children and families, and provide advice into conducting your own viewer and user research, to learn directly from your audience. With academic research experts (including Professor Lydia Plowman, University of Edinburgh, and Joanna McPake, University of Strathclyde) and leading commercial companies engaged in building insight, the seminar used the CMC method of bringing together unexpected partners to provide new ideas and new approaches.
