How to get to the venue


  • The best way to get to Olympia is to go to the Kensington (Olympia) station which is on the Overground network.
  • You can join the Overground line at Shepherd’s Bush (Central line) or West Brompton (District line).


  • Alternatively you can get the District line to West Kensington (14 mins walk) or Barons Court (13 mins walk) or Piccadilly line to Barons Court (13 mins walk).

Inside the venue

On Arrival

  • Please present your LBF ticket at the Grand Hall entrance on Olympia Way (opposite Kensington Olympia train station).
  • Upon entering the Grand Hall, turn left, walk past the HarperCollins stand and go up the staircase to Level 1 (entrance to the staircase is opposite the Omnibus stand).
  • At the top, turn left on Level 1 and left again which will bring you onto the National Hall Gallery Level.
  • Walk past the Tech Bar and turn left again to go around the Gallery perimeter, proceed past the Print in Istanbul stand and proceed to the Apex Room.
  • The entrance to the Apex Room entrance can be found between the English PEN Literary Salon (Stand 3D15) and Foyles Book Shop (Stand 3D25)
  • Look out for volunteers in orange CMC t-shirts who can assist you.



Apex Room

Apex RoomThe Apex Room is on level 1 inside Olympia.

This room is used for registration, one-to-one meetings and tea and lunch breaks. Further details on size and a 360 degree tour of the room can be found here.

Club Room

This room is used for the Keynote and Toy Story session in the morning.


Children’s Hub

Children's hubThe Children’s Hub is on level 1 inside Olympia.

This room is used for the CMC produced panel sessions, which are open to all Book Fair delegates.
