So Farewell then the MEDIA Programme – Hello Creative Europe

With a budget of €1.46 billion over the next seven years, 9% more than current levels, Creative Europe is the successor to MEDIA and the European Culture programmes.  It will allocate at least 56% of its budget for the MEDIA sub-programme 
and the main funding priorities will continue to be training, development, TV programming, distribution, access to markets and festivals. There will also be a loan guarantee facility to boost financial support further. Kidscreen – UKTI Incentives

While we're on the subject of Kidscreen and the British delegation, we can announce that UKTI has come up with a great incentive to attend. A £500 Market Access Programme grant is available to each company (SME) attending. The School of Education at the University of Sheffield is staging an unusual industry/academic/audience crossover event as part of this year's Economic and Social Research Council Festival of Social Sciences.
