Preview – Gambling and Gaming. What’s the Difference? Whats the Harm?
Wednesday 3rd July 2019, 14:10 – 15:10
Showroom Cinema 2
This session highlights the human cost of gambling-harms and explores whether the increasing intersection of gambling and gaming is something to be concerned about or is the latest moral panic about children’s behaviours online.
Gambling with Lives, the charity founded by families bereaved by gambling-related suicide, to raise awareness of the serious health risks of gambling addiction, have spoken about their experiences for the first time in this hard-hitting film, which will be first seen at CMC.
