Ireland has become the go-to place for the creation and production of some truly outstanding content for audiences of all ages. Join us in the HUBS Common Room, for a panel put together by the Irish industry, to reveal what  Ireland can offer.

  • The Focus on Ireland panel features members of the Irish animation industry who are at the top of their field and have worked with networks and studios around the world.

Our speakers have some exciting credits and valuable personal insights to share.

Andrew Kavanagh, CEO and founder of Kavaleer Productions will be in the chair. At Kavaleer, Andrew and his team host an impressive state-of the-art-studio in Dublin, where they can work on 2-3 productions at a time with the best talent and technologies available. The beautiful and bold series ‘Pablo’, was co-produced by Kavaleer and currently airs on CBeebies and Netflix.

‘Pablo’ is the first the first animated TV series to star an autistic character and the show’s creator Gráinne McGuinness joins the panel., along with Alix Wiseman,  senior VP at 9 Story Media Group dealing especially with Distribution and  Acquisitions.  Attendees will also get to hear a unique scripting perspective from Lena Byrne ,who heads up the Script Department at JAM Media, and whose experience covers supervising all scripts and leading on all writing projects for Dunlin-based JAM.

The perspective will be what Ireland has to offer creatively and in a business context…

And who knows – there may be an Irish treat in store for all who attend?
