Trade delegations – December 2010.
UKTI are supporting two trade missions in December, aimed at opening up creative industry opportunities in Asia. Some last-minute places are still available. To apply contact the UK Co-ordinator Johanna Bolhoven
6 & 7 December: The UK/China Animation Forum, Beijing, China
A delegation of 10 – 15 UK animation companies will take part in presentations, panel discussions, networking events and one-to-one meetings. UKTI will provide UK digital animation businesses with a package of market entry support, including pre-market training and advice, introductions to Chinese businesses and the organisation of company visits.
8, 9 & 10 December: The Asia Television Forum in Singapore
This the most significant media-content market in Asia. Again market entry support will be provided for a number of established firms (producers and distributors) who are new to or have limited experience of the Asian market. The mission will include presentations on the Singapore marketplace, networking events, attendance at the ATF, introductions to Singaporean Government support agencies and one-to-one business meetings.
It’s possible to combine both events into a single market exploratory visit – just let Johanna know your interest at the point of contact. In both cases delegates will be expected to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements and there is a fee for participation. Financial support from local UKTI offices may be available in some cases.
