Marc Goodchild is an award-winning independent media producer/consultant specialising in cross-media production and converged TV formats. He joined the BBC in the mid-nineties and won a Bafta for the world’s first interactive TV documentary, ‘Walking With Beasts’. In 2007, Marc lead the creative renewal of the BBC/s interactive services for CBeebies and CBBC, establishing Children’s as one of the ‘five core products’ in the BBC’s digital strategy. In 2010, he helped develop the BBC’s new IPTV portfolio for Connected TVs, second screen and OTT services.
In 2011 Marc left the corporation to set up IpDipSkyBlue.tv and now works with a mix of clients from broadcasters, to independent TV production companies, digital agencies and start-ups. He is also a mentor on The Crossover workshops and commissioner labs and an advisor to the Children’s Media Foundation.
