DIY Research – A Producers’ Guide is the first in a series of CMC workshops bringing together the research and creative communities to exchange insight and experience.
Date: 7th November 2012 (11 am – 4.15 pm)
Venue: The London Knowledge Lab, Emerald Street, London WC1N 3QS
Tickets: Free – available via James O’Toole at the London Knowledge Lab J.OToole@ioe.ac.uk
When you meet kids do you quiz them about your show, your book, your latest app? Do you run your project plan past them to see if it takes their fancy? Can you be sure you’re getting the truth and not just what you want to hear?
Find out if your home-grown research techniques are robust, efficient and ethical. Join academic and commercial research experts for a day of insight and exchange, and develop your personal research methods along professional lines.
This CMC Research Meets the Producers event is organised in association with the ESRC Festival of Social Science, and will be hosted by Professor Lydia Plowman, University of Edinburgh, and Joanna McPake, University of Strathclyde. Speakers and workshop leaders will come from a range of companies including Doco London, Dubit, Pineapple Lounge, Sherbert Research, and more.
