In 2002, Cynthia and husband Shadi saw their dream become reality, with the establishment of Dana Production Company. Over the years Cynthia has worked as a make-up artist, video editor, producer, creative director and writer of several television programmes, including Alwan – the acclaimed Arabic pre-schoolers’ series, now in its third year. Other productions have focused on empowering Arab women, a cooking programme and educational features for children. A short children’s film that Cynthia co-produced was nominated for a Prix Jeunesse International award in 2006.
