A BAFTA nominated producer, Carl has been creating interactive experiences since 2000. He specialises in the dark art of moving ideas and concepts off the Word .doc and into deliverable projects.
Carl cut his digital teeth as a designer at the agency Atticmedia before joining the BBC in 2004 to work on BBC jam. and then on to CBeebies and CBBC, delivering projects like
ITNG, CBBC/CBeebies iPlayer and
Trapped! the first multiplayer game for CBBC featuring realtime arcade gameplay between players
He likes working out how to do stuff that hasn't been tried before, mixing up ideas with technical R&D and audience insight alongside skills in putting project teams together.
If he looks tired, he probably is. He's just become a dad.
